Hi everyone, I just placed an order for an FP-80 yesterday! I managed to get it brand new for only USD1797, which... is a good deal, right?

Anyways, while waiting for it to arrive (I was told it'll take around 7 days for the keyboard to arrive), I've been looking around for a suitable Keyboard stand for it.

Are there any recommended stands that would be suitable for an FP-80? A simple, sturdy, and durable stand will do, but I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions/recommendations would be helpful. Thanks!

How about the official Roland furniture stand designed for the FP-80?

The Roland furniture stand is probably your bext bet. Roland recommend certain metal stnds too for this model if you play away as it were. These would be more stable imo for that situation.

Alternatively, you could knock one together yourself. . .

Thanks for the replies! The furniture stand (KSC-76) looks great, but it seems to be relatively pricey. I'll try to look for cheaper alternatives first.

Just stay away from X stands, table stands and Z stands are much better.

Would this stand be wide enough for an FP-80?:

http://www.lelong.com.my/hercules-ks400b-keyboard-z-stand-musicbliss-166453621-2017-08-Sale-P.htm

On the page, it says the Stand's width is "510 mm - 850 mm (20" - 33.5")"

The FP-80's width is 1396 mm, which means the stand would be 60% of the keyboard. Seems like this stand would be good for the time being, but I want to double check on this forum before I drop $90 for it. It's a Z stand and it looks pretty sturdy (but can't really tell from just the pictures). Thoughts?

Thanks!

edit: Just noticed that the page also mentions "Supported Depth: 450 mm". The FP-80 is 458 mm. Hmm.. no idea if the extra 8 mm will cause any difference.
