This solves the problem in which keys tend to stick when pressed obliquely, even though they move freely when struck vertically.
That's the counter-intuitive part.
I don't understand why it works, but it does. I've had it done for me twice by techs, and once more myself using the free sample I mentioned earlier.

In what way does it work if you have had to do this 3 times, twice by a Tech and once yourself?

I have a Yamaha keyboard keyboard here that I'm using every day.
It's at least 30 years old now, and I've never had an issue of sticking keys.

Will do some R&B for a while. Give the classical a break.

Lubrication won't help if the Fatar is defective.

Mine came with the metal pivot rod being thicker in the lower section, causing the lower keys to be 20 grams stiffer than the upper.

You can check this by taking off the keys and moving the pink stoppers. These should not rub against the rod at all, while in fact in many Fatars they do. Poorly machined metal rod is the answer to the endless debate of certain Fatars being stiffer than the others.

I know, I'm just so mad at Fatar that I'm feeling an urge to expose some more Fatar truth everyday.

Check out the neighboring thread for more.
