Hello everyone! This is my first post and first of all I have to say how much I have enjoyed the piano world forum over the past several months. I began looking for my new piano about 6 months ago and read every post I could on the pianos I was looking at. For the past 14 years I have enjoyed a beautiful Yamaha C series disklavier. But I wanted to upgrade to my 'forever' piano while I can still play! I play classical, new age, pop, and some gospel. During my search I played an August Forster, Bluthner, older Bosendorfer, Schimmel, Estonia, Grotrian and a few Steinways. The pianos that spoke to my heart the most were the Bosendorfer and the Grotrian. I learned so much reading the posts from Piano World. After agonizing over my decision, I chose a Bosie 214 CS. My piano is beautiful to look at and has a voice that can bring me to tears. The Grotrian was my second choice, and I still dream about that piano, but since I can only have one, I am very happy with my Bosie. Thank you again for secretly helping me on this journey. I continue to learn more all the time and it is so much fun. My Bosie was delivered last Saturday and I played it for 4 hours! My only dilemma now is that I wish I had more time to play!

So lucky! Bösendorfer 214 is one of my all time favourite pianos.

Congrats! We also represent both Bösendorfer & Grotrian, and I find it interesting when customers are comparing the two.

Hi, what is the model (size) of Grotrian do you like? Why Bosie and Grotrian? I find the sound signatures of theirs different. Thank you

HI! It was the Grotrian Charis - the 6'10" that I really liked. But in the end the Bosie won out. Both wonderful pianos but something about that Bosie made me take it home. And now that I have her home, I know I made the right choice.
