If you lay your cables down and they stay put forever (except for when your wife makes you move them so she can sweep or vacuum), then those straight cables will do.

But if your move the cable much, that coiled/flexible cable might offer your some convenience. It's your choice.

Aside from that, there are three kinds of consumer-grade cable.

1. Cheap junk from the dollar store. Sometimes from the drug store, too. They're thin and flimsy. They won't last. Stay away!
(Where are you located? I'm guessing not in the US? In that case, my "dollar store" and "drug store" references might be meaningless.) smile

2. The next price tier covers a wide range. They're more rugged than the cheap junk ... a good choice. They're sold at low prices online, and at 2x or 3x the price at retail stores. They're all the same. Take your pick based on price and form-factor.

3. The high-tier cables are overpriced, high-profit items. They're sold under the Monster Cable brand, among others. They're suitable, but the extra money gets brings you no benefit. Just a thinner wallet. Don't be fooled.

That #2 mid-tier is suitable for home use. I never buy from tier #1 or #3.

There is a higher, professional class of cable, made extra rugged. These are meant for users who roll/unroll, plug/unplug often. People like traveling musicians who stress the cables more than a home user would. Or for studio or other critical work where time is money, and a broken cable costs more in lost time than the cable is worth.

I'm assuming you're not in that latter category. So #2 tier would be my choice. Among the cables you referenced, any of them will do.

I dont travel as I am a student.....should I get that snake-looking cable( dont know how to describe it)

Or just the regular black one (asking this because both the wires are made up of different materials......

BTW I live in India and I can relate your dollar store thingy with the wires people in our country sell at those "red light places"....really cheap and poorly made.....

Anyways thanks for your help smile

You gave the answer yourself? Yes it's all the same!

Casio never did invest in 'High End' audio so don't get fooled into spending a lot of money on audio cables!

Get basic cables with decent connectors. Should not be costing you more than about 10-15$ for a 9 ft. stereo cable!

I assure you, you will not hear any difference with cables costing 10 times as much!
