The sound was provided by Pianoteq 5 (a modeled (not sampled) Steinway Model B grand piano). I aslo use the digital-audio recorder Ardour in Linux. Lost Isle, Stephen C. Because I can no longer edit the incorrect post above, the corrected link to the piece I mentioned above, Lost Isle, is below. Lost Isle, piano solo https://youtu.be/7Jmc4Gc2UwM The primary reason the right-hand part of the piece you saw and heard at YouTube, Seascape 1, consisted mostly of chords, is that this piece was composed several months ago after treatment for cancer that nearly disabled my right arm and hand, making chords about all I could manage with limited finger articulation. Recovery is slow, but proceeding better than I or my doctors expected. Lost Isle is a more recent piece. Last edited by Stephen_Doonan; 07/10/16 07:30 PM.
