I'm considering both of these keyboards, but there is a big catch: I don't care much about the piano sound. I'm mainly interested in orchestral sounds, especially strings.

I'm leaning towards the Kurz because many people say they generally have great string sounds. Also, I see the MPS20 has 15W speakers, while the Casio only has 8W. I plan on using the built-ins, so if one has better speakers than the other, that'd be a factor. No place around here has either of these in person, so I've only seen some youtube vids.

The actions will be quite different. If you can't play one on a showroom floor you'll have to order and take advantages of the 30 day money back guarantee.

Casio uses the same action on the 160, 150, 360, 350, 560. You should be able to demo one of these at a local shop. The Kurzweil's can be harder to find on the floor.

I have tried both keyboards side by side. And I found the speakers on the Kurzweil significantly better than the casio. Clearer, louder, and more bass.
There are two keyboard versions of the MPS20 one has the Fatar and the other doesn't. Make sure you choose the Fatar version because the in-house action on the other is horrid.
The Casio has really nice feeling keys with decent weight on them.

Thanks, but I decided to try the Casio. No place around here had either board, but the Kurzweil was special order at most online places (which means no returns accepted). Kind of risky, so I just went with the PX560. It seems like it's newer tech, anyway. Too bad it doesn't have speakers as good as the MPS20, but I'm just playing at home, so hopefully they are decent enough.
