So far as I know, Parsons/Baldwin does not make pianos comparable to the Artist Grand SF-10 or SD-10, Baldwin's 7 and 9 foot pianos. These models still appear on Baldwin's website.

In February or thereabouts, there was a thread here announcing the release, in July of this year, of a Parsons-made 7 footer. I've heard nothing since. Apparently, there is/was a prototype out there somewhere.

Do any of our industry experts have any knowledge that they would be willing to share?

After seeing and playing the prototype in October last year, We finally have the first new BP212 (Baldwin 7' grand) in our showroom. It is an excellent piano, and very much a Baldwin in every sense of tone and touch. In fact, it is next to an older SF10 and SD10, and many of the pianists who have tried it prefer it to the SF10.

If I can answer any other questions for you, please PM me.

So happy to hear the Baldwin brand doing well, introducing new models, and still American-owned (well, Gibson...).
