Hi,

For any rebuilders that have experience with WNG actions, what are some typical measurements for the note spacing in the bass and treble sections?

There are no "typical" action center spacing standards. Each manufacture and each model and size of piano will have it's own measure.

The center-to-center spacing can vary from slightly more than 14.5 mm (in the bass) to slightly less than 12.0 mm (in the treble).

But you always have to check.

Subcontra has been trying to design a fantasy grand piano incorporating various theories that are bandied around. However, the questions indicate a dearth of understanding of the basics of piano design.
