Hopefully also will get something worked up for the next recital!!

Nice to know that you're trying to play my version of "Night"! thumb Check Monica's version of that piece that she submitted for the (last) recital... you'll get some inspiration wink
Looking forward to listen you playing "Night"!

I'm just getting around to listening to these now, in random order. I won't be able to give feedback to everyone, sorry (I'm just randomly picking entries!)

20. chopinoholic (Paul de Koning) - Sonata op.57 F minor mvmt 1 - WOW! Just wow! This is not something I have attempted and likely never will. In the first movement I can hear some slight unevenness in the repeated notes (at about 1:16 - 1:30 - you did say to be honest!), but that in no way detracts from what is really a stupendous performance. And honestly, I like it at this tempo, each note has beautiful clarity.

38. Ganddalf - Sinfonia no.7 - I love the Sinfonia's and Inventions, for their clarity, simplicity, and how they "communicate" with us. I haven't heard this one before - you made the voices sing, beautiful bass tones on your piano too... and yes, I definitely enjoyed your performance of it!

16. Greener/Jeff - Waltz in A Minor, Op. Posthumous - Despite having a month less than you realised, this is really lovely. You've really got the waltz thing down pat. You asked for technical feedback - as you progress with practicing this piece, I would suggest softening and lightening your left hand, particularly on the third beat of each bar. I know none of us are Ashkenazy but I'm thinking of his performance of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZJt-oWDD7U. Hope that helps! I'm looking forward to hearing this next time around :-)

37. carlos88 - Madonna of Frydek - Although I am completely unfamiliar with this piece and composer, I really enjoyed your recital. You've done a good job with the polyrythms (is sounds like running water, or a trickling stream), and I love the contrast of those lovely rich chords that come in around 1:40. Good job!

05. INBoston - Tango Jealousy - Wow, I have Tango Jealousy after listening to this! Good job! I can hear you're almost impatient to get to the big tango opening at about 50 seconds, and then you take off!, it's great. Hear what you say about it's not perfect - but it's pretty damned good, I loved it!

39. PikaPianist - Invention No.13 in A minor, BWV784 - BRAVO! Applause!! Loved your execution, the tempo, dynamics, phrasing, and obvious joy in performing - and you made it look so smooth and easy! (And I know it's not!)

Thanks Cathryn! laugh
Yes those repeated notes needed work. I think it's one of the harder parts in the movement. I have it now more steady throughout and the piece is more of a whole now with clear lines and structure.
