Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best piano light to buy for a grand piano? I have a nice piano light that works very nicely for my upright piano, but I'm not sure it will fit on the grand properly.

I would buy a House of Troy lamp. They are expensive compared to others, but I searched and searched and given how well they're made, their warranty, etc. they are an excellent buy!

jwcosta,
I am using two wall-mounted 60-watt halogen spotlights. This is a best lighting I have ever invented in my life. The lamps are mounted on the walls on just left and the right of the keyboard. They are 7-foot hight.
Illumination intensity at the keyboard and the music are 800Lx and 600Lx respectively.
As you can see on the phone, no shadows and no glitterings. The phone was taken without strobes.

Thanks Andrew. Re: the House of Troy light, do you have the kind that sits on a pedestal base or the kind with a clip? I'm looking for one that would work best with a grand piano.
