I saw in a thread in the digital forum that apple* was shopping for a portable keyboard that she can bring with her to chemotherapy sessions, which she is starting soon.

apple* is such an important presence on PW, and I knew that others would be as concerned as I was to hear of the health challenge she is facing. So I PM'ed her and asked her permission to start a thread where we could all send her our love and concern. She replied that she could use some positive energy, so here I go!

Apple, our prayers are with you. I moved my mom in with us when she was going through the same thing. It wasn't easy through the treatments but with the help of family and friends, she beat it. My mom lives with us to this day.

Your friends and family will want to be with you. Greet them with open arms. Keep them close. You will come through this also.
