This custom search works much better than the built in one and allows searching older posts.

It's interesting to hear you say that, I'm in Chicago, and it seems to be devoid of any competitions... Can't really help you there. All I know of is the Granquist Competition and there are some concerto competitions like the Ars Viva, but I don't have a concerto ready...

Well, the annual MTNA state competitions are always scheduled in the fall.

There's the Rachmaninoff International Competition in Los Angeles in 2008 (deadline for applications is March of 2008). There's also the Minnesota Piano e-Competition in 2008. Don't know of any others... Ed
