Hi,
My friend, Jessica and I are working on this piece by Mozart. But it is and was very scary. It's difficult in synchronizing and also technically. I don't even know if we are able to make it through the first phrase.
This song is composed by Mozart for two sisters to learn how to enjoy music. So I've heard. I'm not sure if I've read the history correctly but if I'm wrong, please feel free to share with me.
Anyone played this song before? What do you think about the piece?

How well do you both know it individually? You should learn your parts separately first, and then once you've worked it to the point that you are still reading and under tempo but fairly comfortable, then try it together to figure out what technical issues you will have putting it together. Then work separately again on those issues, getting it the tempos you decided, etc. Once you've worked those out on your own, then practice together as much as possible after that.

I absolutely adore this piece. You should start with the slow movement, which is not that hard to synchronize if you listen to each other. Once you find out how glorious it is, you will be inspired!!!

I agree with Morodiene. Work at it individually then slowly together. Two piano works and duets take time to get them right, but once the hard work is done, they're a lot of fun and addicting to play.
