Hi guys! I'm back!

I went home for the holidays and had to play on a piano where everything that could've gone wrong, went wrong! The pedal doesn't work, for one - my teacher had the best description for this: "A piano without a soul..."! The F# 2 also doesn't work, and suddenly I realize almost all my pieces are in G or D major - where F# starts playing a big role, of course! To crown it all, it hasn't been tuned for 4 years - and has moved twice in that time!

So yes, I'm really glad to be back in my practise room with my Yamaha - and that's an understatement!

I posted it here, coz it's only you guys who would understand the depth of my frustration!

Hi from South Africa

My digital piano has many sticky keys at the moment - mainly white ones, for example I can only play a G major chord around middle C (BDG) on a good day otherwise the keys stick down!

That also reminds me of a standup piano in a school I go to. Its D5 is broken, its A2 gets stuck, and its overall just out of tune. And only the middle pedal works. What a great school piano.
