Does anyone know if there are any recordings of the Well-Tempered Clavier on organ? I think it would sound neat.

Perhaps you just don't like the sound of an organ? I have grown quite fond of it in recent months.

As I recall, there was one in progress a few years ago. Many scholars believe that some of the works in the WTC were actually meant for organ.

That would be really cool. I really enjoyed Gould's Art of fugue on the organ.

Yay! After much searching I found one: amazon You can listen to samples. The first prelude is too fast for my liking but I love the organ's sound for these pieces.

I've just finished listening to all of Bach's works for organ, and it left me craving more. Hence, this thread.

Also, the chorale preludes and settings are some of his most transcendent works.
