I have a humble 52 posts in 9.3 weeks, discounted by my vacation being the slacker that I am.

Lets see that works out to more then 3 years for me get to 1000. By then Sam will be at 16000 posts, I think, I can't count that high

I really should have posted more during my vacation. No... I should just give up and go back to work and practice more piano!

I figured that if your first week was any indication, you'd be at 10,000 by now. You must have slowed down at some point.

I'll hit 1,000 eventually... if I get myself addicted to a political thread my rate will go WAY up, but the problem is that there are always people that I agree with, that are far more intelligent and articulate than I am, that just plain beat me to it. My lurking prowess is pretty good though!
