I recommend Op. 2,1

The fourth movement is a bit more difficult than the other three, but if you can manage the third movement from Moonlight, you should also be able to manage that one.

I remember enjoying Op.10 #1. It's not particularly difficult at all and has some fun aspects to it.

Op. 2#1, Op. 10#1, Op. 10#2, Op. 14#1, Op. 14#2, Op. 79, maybe Op. 90.

Try Opus 2 NO 2: its underrated, some difficulties in the first and last movements. But its a great piece of music. My favorite is the 2nd movement of the Opus 13.

The first sonata would be a good choice. Beethoven was quite fond of this work. The opus 49's are also good to work on. The next several sonatas after #1 are actually very challenging. There aren't any "easy" sonatas. They all have their problems and, of coarse, you have to make them sound and follow ALL of Beethoven's instructions. Not easy at all.

Do or do not. There is no try.

I am an advanced piano aplyer, at or just near the Teacher's level. My piano teacher wants me to play a Beethoven Sonata.I've already played the Pathetique, and my preference is a very melodic piece.( I enjoy Romantic period pieces the most)Suggestions?

Op. 14,1 is beautiful and melodic. I think, it's No. 1, it's in G major. It's one of the easier Beethoven sonatas, I think.
