To help me decide, could you list the following (a) in order of difficulty, and (b) in order of greatness. Or else direct me to other threads that discuss the following repertoire:

1) Saint-Saens 2nd PC (Mvt. 1)
2) Schumann PC (Mvt. 1)
3) Beethoven 3rd PC (Mvt. 1)*
4) Beethoven 3rd PC (Mvt. 3)
5) Chopin E-minor PC (Mvt. 1)
6) Gershwin Rhapsoy in Blue

*The cadenza to this movement is so amazing, almost as powerful as the famous Rach 3 cadenza. However, the parallel trilling passage near the end of it would be near insurmountable for me (I suck at trilling), which probably puts this movement out of the question.

Thanks for you help!

Greatness is totally subjective, so that's up to you, but in order of easiest to hardest, here it goes -

1.) Beethoven concerto, 3rd mov.
2.) Saint-Saens
3.) Beethoven concerto, 1st mov.
4.) Rhapsody in blue
5.) Schumann
6.) Chopin

what? rhapsody in blue as no 4? It's probably the easiest piece out of those... as soon as you get it under your fingers it's a piece of cake to play.

No, he said Chopin hardest. His list goes easiest to hardest.

Yea - I was a little unsure about putting that there , as I've never played it...in retrospect maybe it could be replaced with the Sant Sanes.

I'd say that Beethoven 3rd movement is harder than rhapsody in blue, too. It's got some incredibly fast 24-notes (damn, I've forgotten the name of three sixteen-notes with a 3 over in english, what is it? in swedish, it's "triol") and very hard coda.
