jazzyd 1000 Post Club Member Registered: 09/16/01 Posts: 1861 Loc: United Kingdom	Anyone heard of this pianist (1889-1968)? I hadn't, but I recently acquired a vinyl set of his Bach English Suites, recorded in 1953. The playing is really wonderful; so intuitive and full of life. Sadly, it seems there's only one CD release of his recordings: Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies and some Bach Concerti. Does anyone know of anything else he might have recorded, or anything about him at all, for that matter? He was a phenomenal pianist - that much is clear. Essipova Junior Member Registered: 12/29/06 Posts: 6 Loc: Albany, NY	Yes, I'm writing his biography. He was a dear friend and teacher. I have all of his LP's and am looking for producer who might be willing to reissue any of his LP's which I've had digitally transferred to CD.
