For computer idiots like myself, how do you get a picture to appear in your signature? I found the "signature" part of my profile, but I do not understand the message next to it. Can any picture be copied? (I'm not interested in using one of those avatars that are provided by Piano world).

I just tried to do it but I am not sure that it worked. Lets see....

Yay!!!!!
Here is what you do....
1. Find the image that you want
2. Right click on the image and select open image in new window
3. Highlight the address in the address bar and right click on it, select copy
4. Come back to the forum and go to the reply screen on any thread, it doesn't matter which one.
5. Under the 'Instant UBB Code' Head click on image.
6. A pop-up will come up and and ask you to put in a web address, you will now delete what is already in the box ("http:\\") and then right click in that box and select paste.
7. Click Ok and then some code with the images address apears in the middle will appear in the message box.
8. Highlight the thing that appeared in the and right click selecting copy.
9. Now go to 'my profile' then go into the one that says update my profile (not srue exactly what it is called)
10. Then go to the signature line and right click and select paste.
11. Go to the bottom and select update
12. There you go, there should be an image in your sig

LTLR, do you own www.ptg.org? You are stealing from them by costing them extra bandwith fees because you are leeching that image. Host that image on your own webspace and stop leeching it.

people... don't put large images in your sigs. it makes this forum heck to read and very bad on those unfortunate enough to be using a 56k modem.
