If so, is it possible to enter turns, and if so, how? Also, trills. I'm not entirely sure if Finale can do that, but if it can, please tell my how because I can't seem to figure it out.
Also, does anybody know what the program Sibelius normally goes for? I use that program and school and I love it and would like to get it for my own computer. Its so much better than Finale. We have the original version at school. I used to have the trial version of Sibelius 2 on my computer, but it was so horrible that I uninstalled it before my time was up. I like the original one much, much better.

I have notepad..and it is so buggy it locks up my puter every time. It worked great the first time I used it, but now I have to "enter the side door" to open it. I reinstalled it after trashing what was installed allready, but it still crashes. I haven't put it on my good puter though. I just don't use it. frown Maybe I should try again, I have some transcribing to do. (My version was free with an over priced mag.... ya get what ya pay for.)

Trills and turns are normally done with the articulation tool in Finale 2002. To my knowledge, Finale Notepad doesn't have this feature.

If you need information on features and pricing for Finale, their website is:
www.codamusic.com

Sibelius' is:
www.sibelius.com

Both companies also offer special pricing for educators and students.

I have Finale notepad and I do think that you can put in trills with the articulation tool.
