Hi guys, do any of you know this piece? The restaurant where I play wants to hear it very badly, and I don't even know the piece! frown

If you could maybe help me with the composers name, it would be really great. All my searches are dead-ends at the moment, coz a lot is classified by composer.

Please help me! confused

Hi from South Africa

Lallie,

I'd imagine the song is called "Sleepy Shores" or something similar, as Sleepy Shawls would seem a rather strange name for a song, though perhaps it is a companion piece to Dozy Dufflecoats smile .

According to Google, there is a piece called Sleepy Shores which was the theme tune from the BBC TV series Owen M.D., composed by Johnny Pearson. Could this be the one?

I am a guy and I know this piece. I used to play it as a kid and it's extremely easy. The Johnny Pearson orchestra as I recall played it really sweetly and my mom loved it. But it is SO-O-O ancient now being round the seventies. I'm glad people still want to hear it again. No-one can forget a good piece of music even after all that time. smile

Yes it is called Sleepy Shores; every teenage girl in England played it in the seventies -
including me...!
