I will be playing at a Christian competition. But my question is: What do you look for in competitions? Even in Non-Christian competitions, what kind of things do you pay attention to?

Any tips?

Well i guess in Christian competition you don't play pieces such as Scriabin's Poeme Satanique or Liszt's Mephisto Waltz.

Anyway my suggestion would be perhaps to include more lyrical and 'churchy' piano music, especially if you have a good acoustic church or cathedral to play. I think Faure and Franck's piano music will be very suitable. You can play some Bach's Chorale transcriptions as well.

I can play basically anything Christian or classical.
