Arrau's Chopin 27 Etudes put me to sleep in no time. Stay away from it.

I don't post often, but must recommend Janina Fialkowska's (a Canadian pianist) recodrding of the etudes. The technique is invisible-- she makes the etudes sound musical rather than merely athletic. Infinitely better than Perahia.

Yes I was and still am a fanatics for soccer
especially the WC. Played it when I was kids and
just love it. Too old now to even run 100m 8-)

Cool - yeah my friends think I need to go to Soccer rehab because I watch so much. I love that it's a flowing sport and there are no commercial breaks.

Back on topic, I like the Murray Pehriha (sp?) recording of the Etudes the most - I love the way he plays 10 / 3 which is for my money the most beautiful piece ever composed.
