1) Reflections on the Water
2) Try imslp
3) Can you watch your language on your topic title - granted I'm not an admin, but I find it inappropriate.

When I say it, it means "Where the food?"

Anyways, SMA was always a poor site anyways.

IMSLP, VKGFX, and Pianostreet has always served me well. There was an MIT site which restricted access recently, unfortunately.

How do you think the companies who print sheet music are going to survive if people don't buy it? Do we really want them all to go out of business? Where will we get music then? I would bet that the "free" sites will stop being free once they have eliminated the competition.

My favourite has to be www.allpianoscores.com, no ads and a wide selection.

Although still bested by IMSLP.

I agree about SMA though, they've really become desperate.

Just as a matter of personal interpretation, I don't consider 'wtf' to be offensive at all. Probably because I don't interpret it as swearing, I interpret it as what it is -- a 'wtf'.

Which is sort of like saying 'dang' instead of a certain stronger word.

Although I certainly agree that it looks really tacky in the topic title.

"Dang" is a euphemism for a stronger word that itself is among the mildest of epithets. I believe "wtf" is merely an acronym for something otherwise unprintable in this forum. It really doesn't have any other meaning, and what it stands for remains the single most obscene word in the English language.

BTW, if "wtf" isn't offensive to you at all, what accounts for the perception of tackiness in the thread title?

The title has no capitalization, happened is spelled 'happend', and there is excess punctuation.

Needless to say, adding the little 'swear/nonswear-acronym' doesn't help much.

Of course, this is all unrelated to the topic at hand.
