I have been self-teaching myself enhancing in music practically by myself and every now and then I get stuck. What I would like to know, is there anyone out there that can tell me the next book I should study that comes after the "JOHN THOMPSONS' MODERN COURSE FOR THE PIANO 3rd graders. What, happens to John Thompson after his 3rd grade book....is there a sequence out there that I should purchase after the 3rd grade book? If so, whats the name of it and the authors name. Thanks so much.

Yes, there is a 4th and 5th Grade book in the John Thompson "Red" books but if you got stuck in the 3rd grade book you may find them difficult. The music in these books is very nice but there is hardly any instructional material in them.

Thanks Carol. The stuck part I was talkin about was that..I got 2nd grade level and I didn't kow if Thompsons had a 3rd grade level and so on. One lady told me at the music store that all they had was Thompson's 2nd grade level. That didn't sound correct. She may have been talking about that there store didn't carry anything other than lst and 2nd grade levels. Yes, I understand 2nd grade of Thompsons very well.
