Do most conservatories require SAT I?
It seems that if a music department is attached to a university (as opposed to a stand-alone conservatory), admission requirement is tough (you have to meet the audition requirement plus general university undergraduate admission requirement); while as conservatories seem to have less "academic" requirement.

Neither your post nor your profile indicates which country you are writing from. However, the best answer to your question should be found in the requirements for each Conservatory. I would think that most of them have a website where you could consult their entrance requirements. A simple "Google" search will bring up any number of them. Here are a few examples :
