Hello Everyone!

I was recently told about this site and decided to give it a try!

I'm 15, and live in the US. I've played the piano ever since I was REALLY young and I love it! Now I'm getting about 3 or 4 hours of practice in each day!

Well I hope that this forum will be helpful to me and that I can share some knowledge with all you other pianists.

Is there anyone my age around here?

18 this thursday. I've been playing for about 3 to 3 1/2 years now (its starting to get difficult to keep exact track now) and I practice at every oppurtunity, which varies from day to day. Sometimes, I don't even get to play at all for a day or two these days. \:\( Anyway, welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum! Feel free to ask us any questions about the piano, I am sure someone will have an answer.

(Just ignore anyone who may start up the debate about FYBO/ Peter/ Steinway Etc, since you are all apparently 15, the coincidences may be too much for some people!) \:D

Haha, Crashtest, I started to post a reply when I saw this thread reminiscing about all the suspicion i was greeted with when I tried to introduce myself, and warning him that he perhaps should not have disclosed the fact that he was 15, haha, but I thought better of it and ended up not. Anyways, welcome to the forum - I haven't been here too long, but I've loved it, and learned much. -Elliott

I'm also 15

I practice 17 hours per minute , and have played since pre birth , since earlier today

I have sadly only one thumb (right hand) no fingers , a sole middle finger in my left , three toes and an elbow protruding from my neck .

When I get my row of eyelashes, that are placed in my navel really working up to speed , Godowsky's Variation upon Alkan etudes hold no terrors for me .

Has anyone not tried these on this forum ? No ?I'm surprised . There are musical wonders in them especially the one where the Bach G# min songlude is interwoven amongst the Alkan 3 in F minor.

I still cannot work out what some peoples on here mean . They seem to talka bout pianism as if it was meant to be played with two thumbs 8 fingers and a brain .

Very strange if you ask me but I'll work on it , my teacher maybe can help me out there .
____

;\) ;\) Just teasing

Welcome aboard the good ship 'madasahattsoffgentelmenagenius'

I don't think you should have any problems finding some 15 year olds here.
