I think this came about around the break of the new millenium. I was wondering if anyone here could provide me with a complete listing of the songs in order, i just wanted to know what they chose for the top 100.

Interesting question. I remember listening to a good bit of the discussion on public radio and many of the performances at the time, but made no notes. It would be interesting to have the list now as a reference.

1 Yesterday (John Lennon/Paul MacCartney
2 Don't think twice it's all right (Bob Dylan)
3 Amsterdam (Jacques Brel)
4 Suzanne (Leonard Cohen)

There are so many great songs.

I think that we should come up with our own top 100 list. Each person submits top 10 in order and then we determine number 1-100 based on number of votes.(in fact, I'm going to post a whole separate thread on this. Thanks for the idea Paul)

It would be a biased list, because most of the people here play the piano, and the list will include alot of piano works, or maybe not, who know? ;\)
