No, I'm not moving, Piano World is.

We are moving to a new host and a dedicated server all our own.

The move is scheduled to happen early Saturday morning (about 7:00 a.m. EST), 03/25/06.

I will need to shut the forums down during the move. If you come to the forums and get a message they are closed, keep checking back.
I'm hoping it will only take a couple of hours to complete. If you still get the closed message later in the day, clear your browser cache and try again.

Once you see the forums up and running again, you will know you are on the new version.

We have already run tests on the new server, the forums (and Piano World in general) should run much faster.

Of course, our expenses are going up too... so if you'd like to consider becoming a subscribing member (or find some other way to help support the forums), please Click Here

Frank, thanks for providing the forums to us and maintaining it despite the obstacles I know you've run into along the way.

I've subscribed for the first time and I hope others will too.

Frank

Subscribing from outside the US seems to fail. Is it US only?

(PS I will not use PayPal).

Frank,

Is it possible for a person's "1000 post club" line to remain after becoming a paying member? It seems that those designations disappear. I kinda like having my "post club" number. I earned it!

Best,

David

Piano*Dad, you need an extra "0" on your post club member line.

Frank I tried to subscribe several times and have not been able to make it work. I do hope the server is easier because I would love to support the forums. I think they are fabulous! I also wrote to Piano World to talk about my difficulties but got no reply.

Good luck Frank. As one who works in the Information Technology field and has performed more migrations than I care to think about, it is with great appreciation for all that you've done that I wish you seamless installation.
Best regards,
Roger

Where are all the forums like: Just for the fun of it, etc.? They are missing at my computer at least...
