Alright. I finally got together a program for my graduation recital, after quite a number of revisions:

Bach: Prelude and Fugue in C Minor, WTC I
Shostakovich: Prelude in B-Flat Minor, Op. 34 No. 16
Chopin: Revolutionary Etude in C Minor, Op. 10 No. 12
Chopin: Waltz in A Minor, Op. 34 No. 2
Beethoven: Appassionata Sonata in F Minor, Op. 57 - I. Allegro assai

*Intermission*

P.D.Q. Bach: Suite No. 2 for Cello All By Its Lonesome
B. Romberg: Cello Sonata in E Minor, Op. 38 No. 1 - I. Allegro non troppo
Grieg: Piano Concerto in A Minor, Op. 16 - I. Allegro molto moderato

I'm happy.

So now I have to write the program notes for the music. The P.D.Q. Bach Suite came with program notes, so I don't need any for that one, and I already know some details about the Grieg and Chopin Etude.

What can you guys teach me about the other pieces on my program? Especially the smaller ones (preludes, waltz...)

How about the WTC as a whole?

Thanks. thumb

Well, on second thoughts, maybe I won't include program notes... that would be a lot of paper. whome

But I'm still curious - for me. laugh
