I spoke with George about the Couperin "Les Barricades Mysterieuses" music which he played at our Front Range Piano party. He said it was from an "ancient Polish edition" he had. It is the PWM Edition with PWM standing for "Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyccne". It was published in Poland in 1969. Hope this helps, but George was pretty sure it wasn't in print any longer.

I invited him to join the forum, so maybe if he starts posting here you can get him to fax you a copy or something.

Dover has this 2-volume "Complete Keyboard Works" by Francois Couperin. It includes all 27 keyboard suites and other miscellaneous pieces. I don't have the ISBN numbers with me at the moment though. One should be able to attain that on Amazon or Barnes, etc.

IMSLP is a fantastic website to download free sheet music including Couperin's harpsichord works.

Interesting historically, just look at these phrases that together make it clear it wasn't posted recently (not that these things don't happen anymore, but they aren't standard):
