Does anyone have problems gliding those fingers playing chords? Sometimes my fingers don't get there fast enough...so I end up out of my {off beat} timing and its to late. Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem.

Do you mean you can't get to the next chord fast enough?

Glenn Gould in regards to music:

The problem begins when one forgets the artificiality of it all, when one neglects to pay homage to those designations that to our minds-to our reflect senses, perhaps-make of music an analyzable commodity. The trouble begins when we start to become so impressed by the strategies of ours systematized thought that we forget that it does relate to an obverse, that it is hewn from negation, that it is but a very small security against the void of negation which surrounds it.

Lots of slow practice: Do it with the metronome, as slow as necessary to get every note. Then bump it up a notch at a time. Check your fingering. Check the curve of your fingers. Add a little arc to your hand movements if your are jumping really far-- easier to come down on the chord rather than a straight vertical across the keyboard (it really is quicker, even though it's not a "straight line"; watch out for unnecessary tension in your arms and shoulders. Even a little extra tension as you concentrate can slow you down. Lots of slow practice. Good luck. \:\)
