I caught a tiny bit of this on PBS this week, just the last two pieces. WOW! I couldn't exactly count but I think it was 7 or 9 Steinway D's in a row. Some of the folks I recognized playing (all similtaneously) were Ax, Levine, Kissin, Lang Lang....

I am hoping it reruns here again soon but Great Performances claims it is to air Aug 25 so check you listings!

It seems that here in Boston where WGBH is located, many PBS shows air a week ahead of others. Don't know why.

It is replaying tonight on channel 2 at 3 am and channel 44 at 4. My vcr is set!

Botticelli, check with your local PBS station's web site. Our station is rather large, so it broadcast multiple times within the week on a few stations they own.

Granted it's at 3am, but my VCR will be working while I sleep!

I will keep the tape to watch at an "approved" time!

Bernard, I did send to your email address. I spent time in the supermarket parking lot listening to the Teflon show. You can hear it online at the site I sent...

BeeLady. smile Now for your penance, you must practice 3 C scales and do an arpeggio in E Major.

I'd say cheating on No TV Summer is worth Bb, three octaves, hands together, major and the 3 minors.

(I hate the Bb scale fingering, always mess it up!) smile

NoteWorthy, how could it not be airing in Houston!? Well, I'll tell you, I have a real love-hate relationship with PBS.

Anyway, you can get a copy of the DVD from BMG, check this out: Verbier Festival
