This message posted with the kind permission of PianoWorld... This is pianist David Nevue, the program director for Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio at http://www.solopianoradio.com . How would you like a chance to win a beautiful, digital grand piano? Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio, along with Galileo Music are giving away a digital grand piano to one lucky person. What's the catch? We'd like your help raising money to benefit children's charities. [/b] To enter the contest, just buy a $5 raffle ticket, which goes to benefit these charties. You can buy as many tickets as you like. On September 1st, we'll draw a ticket at the Whisperings concert in Cape Cod, MA and give away a Digital Grand Piano. You don't have to be present at the concert to win. Even if you don't win the piano, you win by helping kids in need.
For more information on the raffle, the charities, and the digital grand piano prize, visit the Whisperings web site at http://www.solopianoradio.com/concerts/giveaway.htm [/b] Thanks so much! David Nevue Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio http://www.solopianoradio.com http://www.myspace.com/davidnevue

Got my raffle tickets in the mail. LOL I totally didn't expect that. I was willing to take their word that I was entered. I'm glad to donate to a worthy cause. And should I be lucky enough to win a piano, even better.

I have rarely been lucky in winning raffles but for the cause here I have bought a book. My wife is even more averse to raffles but recently we have won a couple. Three times lucky??

I see you're from England, and therefore likely not familiar with the Hole In The Wall Gang organization. Here in the States, it's a highly regarded organization dedicated to bringing some joy into the lives of terminally ill kids who have little to be joyous about. It's money well spent. http://www.holeinthewallgang.org/ "It is here that children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses find camaraderie, joy and a renewed sense of being a kid. They also get to do things that no one knew they were capable of doing."
