I'm having difficulties with the last movement of Beethoven's Op.109 Sonata where you have to play a trill and a melody (over an octave) in each hand at the same time. I've never done this before. Do you have any tips besides giving it lots of practice?

the 3rd movement of the waldstein has this too... i practice this by kind of "cheating".. i make it so my trills line upperfectly with my melody note so when i hit the melody note, i am hitting down a trill too... so this way i can line it up a lot better.. i kno this is what some pros do too.. from listening to their recordings.. it doesnt sound perfect.. but it works

Listening to Brendel I think he does just divide them equally as you say, but with him at least it does sound perfect. laugh
