Anti-digital huh? isn't that an electro-pneumatic organ with a knob on the right that you can turn through your digital pre-set settings? laugh

I play at home, at home, and at home. Once in a while I go to the university to practice on some clunker pianos.

My piano at home is not in a very great condition, so I tried using the college pianos. The good thing is that they have a lot of them and I can practice adjusting to different pianos. Unfortunately, they seem to be booked all the time.

Mostly playing piano at home. Piano is situated in my study.

When I see somewhere something like a piano, I always try to play a few minutes on it..... wink laugh

In the grey past time I played organ every week in the church.

best regards,
Johan B

Wow, that looks like a seriously wonderful location. I'm impressed and jealous in equal measures. laugh If I start saving for that 225 now, I'll just about have acquired some playing skills by the time I can afford it. I may need to do my first recital posthumously though. wink

Thanks for all the replies. smile I'm getting the distinct impression that there is a strong link emerging here between talent and opportunities. If you've got the ability, then there are any number of places to play and people to play with. Who would have guessed? cool

Time I slunk back to the Adult Beginners Forum - and more importantly back to my practice room and got back to helping Michael Row his Boat Ashore.... Also working on Careless Love which I'm enjoying...

Many thanks to you all for giving me a glimpse into the many wonderful worlds of piano that beckon further down the track. thumb

Cheers,

Chris

And, just for comparison, here's my Recital Hall.

Our attic...

You can just make out a keyboard on the right near the computer. That one has since been replaced by a better model - crafted from much more attractive and up-market plastic, and with an altogether classier range of sonic squeaks and creaks. The Bechstein is just out of the picture.... for the moment.. wink

Cheers,

Chris

laugh Darn it. Bang goes my hopes of auditioning for the 'Choir Invisible'. You reckon you'll have already got their keyboard gig nailed down by the time I might get up there then? wink

Ah well, they say the devil has the best tunes.... and it's probably actually an asset to be playing out of time and in the wrong key down there... :b:
