I wanted to thank everyone that has just recently visited my website. I have received a lot of nice compliments and really appreciate them.

I was wondering if you could tell me which piano piece (out of the four on the page: http://FreeSheetMusic.JAGMMP.COM) you like the most and why.

I am trying to get an idea of what people like/dislike about my writing and would greatly appreciate any suggestions, or comments.

i did listened to 3 of them (except Baby one, which froze the browser for some reason). i need to say first before i make any comments that i am not an expert in composition and not even a big fan of new age (although i used to like it), so, just don't take my words seriously.

overall impression is that they sound pretty similar, monotonous in rhythm and texture without dramatic changes through a whole piece. i did like 'fly' better because it sounds with some drama and blend well with the major tone. i felt 'rain' is the most monotonous one of the 3, or maybe it is your intention to protriat a never ending summer rain, never getting heavier or lighter.

i did listened to some new age guitar music and some of them are full of passion and dramatic passage or tones. but i didn't sense any of those in your music, or it's just my sense of taste. sorry, i didn't mean to say anything bad to you... or maybe i don't know what i'm talking about.

The last thing you want is my opinion on what and how you should write. You shouldn't be writing for anyone else, write for yourself. What is the music you enjoy listening to? How do you wish to express yourself? Don't write music you think will sell, write music that expresses what you want to express. Be who you are (or who you find yourself to be) and years from now you'll be able to listen to your own music and say that was me then. So I won't be listening to your music, though I did listen to Rain to respond to your last request. When you write something that expresses who you are let us know and I'll be happy to listen.

I believe that the music I have written does express who I am. I am just looking for other people's view on my music to see what it is that people enjoy about it. I have gotten a lot of great comments, but not any specifics as to what they really like about it.

I appreciate you taking the time to listen. I do agree with you on a great part of what you are saying. They are "character pieces" and stand to show a particular idea. Short in nature, as well.
