Perhaps people who would like to meet you could meet somewhere on Piano Row. Faust Harrison had concert sized(9+ foot) Bluthner, Steingraeber, Steinway and Boesendorfer when I was there last week. There are also some nice concert sized Bechsteins, Faziolis, and Hamburg Steinways at Klavierhaus and Bechstein NY. [/b] That sounds good. I believe that we went to one of those salons last time. In any case, I'll have stuff in my fingers to play and hope that others will too. Originally posted by phonehome: hahaha I'm getting to NYC on the 24th. This is certainly fate. I'd like to meet, but October is a hugely busy month for me. Maybe the 17th would work. Let's stay in touch.

Don't forget to come by and see us at AC Pianocraft at our new location in Long Island City Queens. We have two Steinway Ds in the showroom and two Bs. We are the first stop in Queens on the R train (Queens Plaza). Plus, we'll give you a factory tour which is on the same premises! Give us a call to set it up. (718) 361-9112

Well, I don't know you, but I have met some of the others, I like contemporary music very much and live in NYC.
It could be interesting to meet up, if it were at the end of the range of dates you mentioned. I am around the 22nd and 23rd. Would be fun to watch the finals of a piano competition, better than the Olympics! I used to do those myself, centuries ago.
