OK, I finished recreating Jodi and Cork's Piano Forum Photo Album about 1a.m. this morning. Considering the time, I'm sure I made some mistakes. Please check it out when you have a chance and let me know what needs to be fixed. Forum Gallery http://www.pianoworld.com/forum_members/ForumMembers.htm Frank B. I'm so happy you saved the photo album, Frank! Boy, your eyeballs must be fried by now. Looks great. Isn't Penny's piano gorgeous? You can see it on my page if you scroll down. Those two photos were taken at Artistic Pianos in Encinitas, where it was purchased. Art Olsen took both pictures. One leetle typo on the caption: I believe it's Schulze-Pollmann, not Pullman. And there's more Dallas Piano photos. They spilled over onto another page on the original site. Perhaps I've missed them on this new version? Kudos to Frank for being so supportive of us piano maniacs! Joy  :p

Frank: And, once again, we are all so deeply indebted to you for all the time and effort you put into the Forums for us. It was a pleasure to view all the piano pictures again. We don't realize how much work goes into posting them for us. Thanks, once again. Regards,

Thanks for the photo album. I didn't know it was there but finally found it. I have a cute picture of my granddaughter with a book of Schumann I would send you in reference to all the interest shown in the post about Schumann. However, she will probably graduate from high school before I get 20 posts!

Frank, thanks so much for saving the pictures. It's great to be able to put pianos (and faces) with those whose posts we follow closely. When I get a digital camera, I'll send a snap of our cherry Walter (with the Hummel musicians on top---arrgh.)

Hi Frank, I just looked at some of the other pages and realized the Granholm page seems to be missing some photos. I think his original page also continued onto another page. It showed his rebuilding studio and John himself at work restoring an upright. Hope I'm not being a pest. Joy

Joy[/b] Hi Joy, You could never be a pest. Second page is now up, let me know if I missed any others. The Granholm's are old friends of Piano World. They were among the first to advertise on my site and often helped folks on our early forums. Nice people and very talented. Frank B. Piano World

Hi Frank, Turns out there are still more Granholm Bros. photos! Perhaps it's the only one that had 3 pages on the old site. The captions on page 3 are interesting too. John mentions sending one finished product to a client in Japan! And there's an interesting photo of John starting work on a Steinway. Sorry I missed noting there were THREE pages, Frank Joy [ July 05, 2001: Message edited by: Joy ]

Hi Ben! Nice to see you here. So now YOU are shopping for a piano. How is your nephew doing with his playing and his Petrof? Do you guys do duets? Recently there have been raves from other posters who have sampled Grotian. Do they carry that one in Singapore? Hope Steinway Carol sees your query [Hi Carol!]. Regards, Joy

Hi Joy! It's great to see so many familiar people here once again. Yes, i get to go shopping for my piano AGAIN! I'm so happy!! Anyway, i was actually planning to get another PETROF to replace my current piano but since i've already bought one for my nephew already, i would like to go for something a little different. My nephew's doing fine and he is busy preparing for his Piano exam coming sometime next month! Remember he failed his exam last year? I hope he doesn't fail it again otherwise the poor boy would really be shattered. But if he doesn't gets too nervous that day and the temperature in the examination room is to his liking, i'm sure all would be fine. Oh, talking about duets, we haven't really done a duet together and hope we'll do one in the near future. Oh yes, the Petrof is doing quite well except for a few minor problems like sticky keys and a squeaking pedal. The tuner will come down sometime next week to get it back to shape. Other than that, the piano is holding up beautifully!! It sounded MUCH better now than when it was brand new. I don't have a digital camera but i'll try to take a few photograhs and scan it into my computer and hope that someone wil;l [place it in the piano album Yes, how's Max? Any particular piece he is working on now? And yes, how's your M&H piano doing? I hope everything is well on your side. Have to go off now.. hope to see you around soon.... Best Regards Ben
