Try doing a search in the archives; this was discussed some time ago, perhaps when the game was first released. Here Here and Here Regards,

I rented it a while ago. I never finished it, but I did find it to be a pretty enjoyable RPG. I wouldn't put it quite at the level of the Final Fantasy games, but I still recommend it.

I would have called it "Eternal Ballade" since the sonata genre is much more closely associated with the Viennese composers.

I applaud the creator of this "game." Much of what I have seen (through those glass-enclosed) cases are either war, blood and guts products or ones with questionanble good taste. Now I know that there are some wonderfully musical choices to be had, but one centered around Chopin is almost beyond belief.
In the article from Wikipedia, it stated that most people in Japan have heard of Chopin and many know his music. I wish I could say the same about the young people here in the U.S. Of course, those who have studied the piano know of him, but those who have not...No Way.
And the fact that the game has won a major award just blows my mind. I doubt it will be a big seller here in the States. I don't mean to sound negative, but I am a realistic person, and Chopin and Play Station don't seem to fit in the same sentence.
I know Chopin is quite popular in Japan with both young and old. Can anyone venture a guess why this is so?

Sounds like fun, but only for XBox it seems?
What's up with the bad rating? Did the looney rater get released again?
