does anyone know where i can find a recording of the Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens for two hands?
i have been searching for a long time in as many places as i can think of and all anyone ever has is the four hand with orchestra version...

Why would anyone want to record that? It was written as an chamber orchestra work with two pianos. The only reason anyone plays the reduction is because they can't play the original for whatever reason. I don't even think the reduction is by Saint-Saens. The reduction for two pianos solo isn't.

Reductions were made when you couldn't get recordings. There's no point to make a recording of a reduction.

whatever reason? how many people do you know that have four hands and a chamber orchestra? and as for why i would like a recording? i am curious as to how it sounds.

honestly i have no idea why anyone would want to record that...but really worse things have been recorded

and seriously...i would like a recording and i would like to know where to find one

I just went up to my local music store and bought a nice CD of Pascal Roge and Cristina Ortiz with the London Symphony of the COA. It wasn't very hard to find, in fact I saw about 10 different recordings!
