The only reason anyone plays the reduction is because they can't play the original for whatever reason. I don't even think the reduction is by Saint-Saens. The reduction for two pianos solo isn't. Reductions were made when you couldn't get recordings. There's no point to make a recording of a reduction. Semipro Tech

PianoBeast10489 500 Post Club Member Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 830 Virginia Beach,VA	I just went up to my local music store and bought a nice CD of Pascal Roge and Cristina Ortiz with the London Symphony of the COA. It wasn't very hard to find, in fact I saw about 10 different recordings!
