Hey, i just started the chopin scherzo #2, and I was wondering if you guys had any tips/tricks or suggestions to facilitate/expedite learning (i have evaluation in about 3 weeks)

Absolutely without any question learn the LH first for the secondary theme in the A section. Use that as your warm-up. Play it slowly and forte with good lateral motion across the keys. The quicker you can learn this and get it into your fingers the easier this scherzo is going to get. The better you get at it, the more dynamic contrast you'll achieve, etc. You need plenty of control here so it's never too early to learn it.

Next should come the tricky RH passage in the calm B section, towards the end (well, that entire section is a monster). Good luck!
