When you die and go to heaven (?),you'll look for all the old maestros for sure. On your liszt there should List somewhere, so, knowing that, what is the one work you would want him to play for you? (any length, must have a piano somewhere in it)

zorro

P.S: might the one work you're dying to see live.
P.P.S: I'd ask for his Totentanz (danse macabre), not the Saint-Saens transcription.

That's assuming the elevator went up and not down for Franz Liszt.

I think I'd rather hear Chopin play some of his own music.

I'd rather take a lesson with Bach.

Didn't Chopin envy Liszt of his playing?
Didn't he wish to "rob him of his hands" when he heard him play his etudes?

I'm not convinced Liszt made the cut. smile
