Last I heard was trichinosis. But his cause of death seems to change every few years, so I don't know.

Mozart for me is tied in the top 3 with Beethoven and Bach, they are the only ones on that top tier, followed by Brahms one tier down.

My top 3 or 5 favorite works of art ever conceived of man are probably all by Mozart such as his Mass in C minor, and I think Mozart best of all elicits feelings of God and death and the afterlife in music, better than any other composer.
