sorry if this is a ridiculous question. is there a piano chord Dm/C??? i have sheet music to a song with guitar chords and can find/play every chord on the piano except Dm/C!!

That's just a notation for a Dm chord in the right hand with a C in the bass. Basically an inverted Dm7. You can voice it however you want, but keep the C in the bass.

Wdot is correct. You could spell it in a number of ways, as long as the C is in the bass.
C-D-F-A C-F-A-D (Very open sounding and pretty) C-A-D-F (A very large stretch, probably not feasible)

It doesnt always give the best result to follow the rules IE the C in the base.

Yea as others said it's an inverted Dm7. To be specific it's a Dm 4-2 chord.
