LOL \:D

On a less classical side, how about Einaudi Ludovico's Le Onde? Lots of broken 6ths in there and it's quite a lovely little piece.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Chopin's 3rd Impromptu Opus 51.....

There are quite long sixth passages in Scharwenka's 2nd piano concerto, first mov.

Try Liszt's transcription of Schumann's Widmung.

Look also Moszkowski's Etude in A-Flat Minor, Op. 72, No. 13.

Yes indeed, pages 10 through 12. One hopes the conductor would have mercy; Scharwenka's orchestration can be unwieldy at times. It certainly explains his excessive use of double octaves in that concerto and the 3rd.

But over all, the 2nd is a really cool concerto. It awaits a truly sovereign performance. How about it Leif Ove Andsnes? (No such luck.)

Brahms' 15th waltz has some of the best sixths ever. He also does so really nice stuff with them in the op. 119, no. 2 Intermezzo. Actually, he uses them all over the place in his music, and often with a strong expressive punch, but it's hard to just isolate them out and say "looky here". Also, he doubles the octave a lot with them, too.

Try the theme from "Love Story." It has melodic sixths all over the place. And the melody is quite beautiful.
