Start with a simple chord like the inversion of a G major (RH) tri chord. Lets say you have a "B" at the bottom, a "D" in the middle and a "G" at the top...
Lets say you wish to bring out the G, well make sure your hands are relaxed and as well as pushing down on the chord, *slide* your hand forward in the direction of the note you wish to emphasize (G).
I'd play that chord with a 1 on the B a 2 on the D and a 5 on the G, so when I slide forwards, my wrist will turn left pushing the pinky forwards more (towards the G on the pinky).
When you can do that, try sliding towards the other notes in the chords, this may be a little harder, (less natural?) but it can be done.
Whe you can do this with regular success in the RH try it in the LH!
Good Luck!

If you slide your hands forwards doesn't your hand/wrist simply go forwards, i.e., the wrist doesn't turn left (or right)?
