I usually take 1. If it is right before a competition or something of the sort usually 2 or occasionally 3.

It's almost always 1 lesson per week. But when it comes to competition time, the schedule turns into:

2 months before competition: 2 lessons per week
1 month before competition: 3 lessons per week, 1 group lesson (with all students) per week
1 week before competition: 5 lessons per week, 1 group lesson, and 1 last "touch-up" lesson at around 10pm

That's mainly for summer competitions though; it would be too hard to do that during the school year!

Once, sometimes twice, rarely more than that. We're never really sure how many lessons we'll get about a month before an audition...^^

I need help with composition. If you have Finale NotePad installed, please ask me to send the file somehow and rate it. Or send an Adobe Reader copy of the music.

1 lesson per week, and 1 group lesson every other week. So, once a week with an occasional 2 per week.

Normally, I'll have two hours a week. Sometimes we will do it in one night, and sometimes we will break it up into two one hour lessons. Of course, for competitions that's subject to change.

In undergraduate, it was two hours a week PLUS all those umpty zillion ensemble requirements. In graduate, and now, it is an hour a week (plus all those etc. etc. ensemble etc.). Every Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m., and-a one and-a two and-a three...

I have a 1hr session (1 hr 20mins if my teacher gets carried away) every fortnight. With the demands of work, I can't guarantee having enough time to make a session a week worthwhile.
