After a long wait, my new Estonia 190 has arrived in Victoria and is now in its new home.

Do you like it?

Yeah, it looks great! I like the furniture and the room, too. The piano looks really great against that red wall and over that red carpet.

Wow, what a lucky man you are indeed.

By the way why is it you moved to Canada again..? Or was it personal reasons? I am just curious.

Sam :

Yes, it took some planning, and the red wall took four days to paint : one day for a tinted primer and three (3!) coats of paint before it looked right.

Requiem :

I moved back to Canada after retiring from my teaching position in the US. I'm originally from Victoria, so this is a "return home" for me.

Beautiful! Love the red wall.

Coming back to piano again in my middle age, and enjoying every minute.

Who's a lucky boy then ? Bruce, do you know Michael Redshaw, who teaches piano at Victoria Conservatory by any chance ? He and I had the same piano teacher when we were teenagers.

Ted :

I do know Michael Redshaw, but not well. He teaches at the summer school I attend each summer, and we have a "nodding acquaintance" with each other.

It looks happy in its new surroundings. Love the red wall and the way it picks up the red in the rug under the piano. It looks like it's in a good spacious room for company.

Slow down and do it right.
